Mansoor Mansoori (b. 1995, Gujarat) is a contemporary artist based in Gandhinagar, Gujarat, working across painting, video, photography, printmaking, and light installations. He holds a BVA in Painting from the Faculty of Fine Arts, Maharaja Sayajirao University of Baroda (2016), and an MFA from Shiv Nadar University, Noida (2020).
Mansoori's practice unfolds through sustained attention to suburban environments and their quieter intervals. His work explores spaces shaped by repetition, pause, and withdrawal, often turning to sombre urban landscapes where stillness becomes a way of observing everyday life. Through carefully composed scenes his realistic paintings evoke an atmosphere of quiet nostalgia, allowing memory and lived experience to emerge through both the built environment and the people who inhabit it. His works approach the city not simply as a setting, but as a condition shaped by time, memory, and human presence.
